মানব ক্লোন--- শব্দটি পরিচিত হলেও মানব ক্লোন আসলে কীভাবে তৈরি হয়? যদি বিজ্ঞানকে নিয়ে সুদূরে ভাবা যায় তবে সব সম্ভব। এই গল্প সেই বিজ্ঞানকে নিয়েই, কীভাবে তৈরি হল দুই জন ইন্দিরা, না ওরা যমজ নয় ওরা দুই জন একে অপরের থেকে একবিন্দুও ভিন্ন নয়, ভাবনা, চিন্তা, তাদের অভিব্যক্তিগুলোও এক, কারণ তাদের জিনের গঠন এক, একজনের জীন থেকে আরেক জন তৈরি, কিন্তু কেন তৈরি হল ইন্দিরার ক্লোন? কীভাবে একটা দেহ তৈরি হল দুই মাসে? কেন ইন্দিরাকে আটকে রাখা হল পরদেশের এক কাল কুঠুরিতে? যখন ক্লোন, ইন্দিরার জায়গায় যাবে, তার কাছের মানুষগুলো কি বুঝবে সে ইন্দিরা নয়, কি হবে ইন্দিরার বিবাহিত জীবন যখন তার প্রতিরূপ তার স্বামীর সঙ্গে জীবন-যাপন করবে, এর পর কি কোনোদিন ইন্দিরা নিজেকে মুক্ত করতে পারবে, সে কি ফিরে পাবে সব কিছু? নাকি আজীবন তার স্বামী ক্লোনকেই নিজের করে বেছে নেবে? কী হবে পরিণতি?
